Dear brothers and sisters,
In Jesus, I am so proud of you. I have received many calls from pastors in the UMC in the wake of the United Methodist Church’s Special General Conference that began last week, mostly excuses and laments about how they didn’t know it was going to happen.
How could anyone say they didn’t see it coming? The more I prayed, the more precious and valuable and proud I became of what we did. I have no doubt that God will see and bless all of you for your faith, courage, and sacrifice.
From the bottom of my heart, I love you and thank you. Let’s continue to work together for His kingdom, guided by the Holy Spirit.
